Radiology Services
Radisphere provides exclusive hospital
contracts for radiology professional services. Our solution encompasses
the following elements:
On-site Radiologist Staffing
The medical leadership of Radisphere
analyzes your facility's daily exam volumes and interviews your
medical imaging staff to determine needs. We then develop a target candidate
profile upon which we can then base our national search.
During this time we also provide a team of our own Transition Staff
Radiologists who are accustomed to solving the particular issues that
arise during a staffing conversion.
When candidates are identified, we administer them our Franklin
Case Study Review Test. This is a test developed by our founders from
Franklin & Seidelmann Radiology—so straightforward and yet so
important that less than half the Radiologists tested qualify to join
our staff.
We then have our medical leadership interview candidates and
perform reference checks before we present them to our client.
Qualified candidates then spend about one week on-site on a "Working
Interview" where your medical staff gets to both meet them and see
their capabilities.
When the final candidate is selected they are appointed the role of
Medical Director for your facility with well defined responsibilities
that Radisphere delineates for you.
Radisphere provides these
recruiting resources coast to coast to match up your needs whether it
be for General Radiologists, Fellowship Trained or CAQ
Interventionalists or MQSA Mammography readers.
Remote Subspecialist Interpretations
Better quality radiology begins with expert Subspecialty Radiologists, not with
expensive modality hardware. And expertise in radiology is a function
not only of education, but is equally related to the numbers of
studies read on an ongoing basis within a specialty. Having large
study volumes is essential to maintaining expertise. So
Radisphere not only routes all studies
to the right Radiologist with our custom-engineered
radii system, but
we also aggregate volumes sufficient enough that our specialists truly
are experts. Local or regional radiology practices have neither the
specialization, the technology to route studies, nor the volume to
aggregate expertise like Radisphere.
ED/Nighttime/24x7 Coverage
Radisphere treats ED and Nighttime
support as a specialty and includes full final reads at night as part
of our standard radiology services. We deliver these decisive final reports
within committed turn around times that are tracked and reported upon
monthly.
Transition Staff Radiologists
When Radisphere begins a partnership with your facility, many
things are put into motion. In addition to technology integration and
staffing for any local General Radiologists, Radisphere also supports
the transition from your previous group's coverage by providing a
seasoned team of Transition Staff Radiologists.
These Radiologists are knowledgeable of Radisphere's people,
technology and processes, yet they are also accustomed to solving the
particular issues that arise during a staffing conversion. They will
provide a bridge so that your radiology service is not interrupted as
you move into Radisphere's model of services. Once the General
Radiologist is in place, they are ready to assume another Radisphere
conversion engagement.
100% Remotely Supported Sites
For those facilities with lower imaging volumes and limited
hands-on procedures, Radisphere can
successfully deploy our highly specialized radiology solution even with no
Radiologists on-site. In these circumstances, Radisphere
still provides the Medical Director role to be on-site as much as is
required to provide the medical leadership to your Medical Executive
Committee and to administration.
