Each report is decisive and directive with deeper anatomic
description and clinically specific pathology. Radisphere
Lexicon
technology insures that each specialist reading a study uses consistent
terms so that your staff does not experience any variability in style or
quality. Lexicon also serves as a custom checklist for almost 300
different reports based upon the study that was ordered so that a
systematic inspection of all images and all structures is performed so
that obvious pathology does not take their eyes away from a subtle or
unexpected finding.
Turn Around Time
Radisphere treats ED and Nighttime support as a radiology specialty and
includes full final reads at night and on weekends as part of our
standard services. We deliver these decisive final reports within
committed turn around times that are tracked and reported upon monthly.
Sample Reports
See our Sample Reports page for samples
of reports for various modalities and anatomical structures.

Radiologist Selection/Testing
When candidate Radiologists are identified to potentially join
Radisphere, we administer them our Franklin Case Study Review Test. This
is a test developed by our founders from Franklin & Seidelmann Radiology
—so straightforward and yet so important that less than half the
Radiologists tested qualify to join our staff.
QA-Peer Review
The goal of the Radisphere Quality Program is to maintain a high
level of quality across interpretations delivered to our customers
through consistent operational practices, training and education,
utilization of a standard lexicon, and administration of a rigorous
quality control and peer review process. The purpose of the Peer Review
program is to promote the quality of interpretations within the
organization by having a comprehensive program to objectively measure
quality and by providing direct feedback to our Radiologists. Because
the case volume received from hospital clients is typically higher risk
than a general patient population, compliance targets are set
accordingly, by physician. At the discretion of the Peer Review
Subcommittee the target review percentages may be adjusted to ensure a
more appropriate level of oversight based on specific circumstances; for
example, a newly hired physician may be subject to more rigorous review.
