Radisphere is a radiology group that has implemented best practices backed by technology to improve efficiency without compromising quality. All of our radiologist use this platform and follow these standards, which gives Radisphere the confidence to contractually commit to turnaround times.
End-to-end turnaround time involves many stages including ordering the scan, sending the scan, validation and reading. The turnaround times shown below are defined as “Validate to Read” which is the time from validation to the radiologist performing the read. | Radisphere's Committed Turnaround Times for Final Reports |
| Priority | Target TAT Time | Radisphere Avg. TAT | Definition |
| Hyperacute | 30 Mins | 0:16:20 | Studies requiring immediate response ie. Stroke and trauma |
| Stat | 60 Mins | 0:20:02 | Emergency situation, more critical in nature, report needed for immediate patient follow-up |
| Routine | 24 Hours | 9:08:17 | Not critical or life-threatening, yet needs attention for patient follow-up |
The additional stages of the end-to-end turnaround time are also important. Radisphere captures this information by modality, which is beneficial to the medical staff in understanding potential delays in the process. As a true partner, these metrics are shared with each of our clients on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to identify opportunities for improvements.
