Steve Black

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Steve Black serves as Chief Operating Officer for Radisphere. In this role he is responsible for all operations, administration, client support, and IT. Mr. Black has over twenty years of operations, technology, consulting and project management experience in the healthcare and insurance industry.

Prior to joining Radisphere, Mr. Black served with United Health Group, the largest private health plan in the world, where his most recent role was Executive Vice President of Employer and Broker Services. During his time with United, Mr. Black also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Solutions for UnitedHealthcare, as well as leading its Acquisition Integration Services and Operational Excellence groups. Before joining the health plan industry, Mr. Black spent nearly seven years with Andersen Consulting leading a wide variety of strategic, operational and technology initiatives for his clients. Mr. Black began his career with The Travelers after gaining his degree in Economics from Harvard. He also has an MA from Boston College.
